The “Iconic Week Celebrations” of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, at the Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
As a part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” the week beginning on June 6 and ending on June 11 in 2022 will be referred to as the “iconic week” (AKAM).
The Jan Samarth Platform
The Jan Samarth Platform, a national portal for credit-linked government programmes, will be launched by Prime Minister Modi. It’s an all-in-one digital hub for government credit programmes that connects borrowers with lenders.
Through simple and quick digital processes, India’s government hopes to promote equitable growth and development in a wide range of sectors, according to the Prime Minister’s Office’s statement on the Jan Samarth webpage. The gateway ensures that all linked initiatives are covered from beginning to end.
The journey that both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs have been on over the past eight years will be chronicled in a digital display that will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
In addition to that, he will issue a limited edition series of coins worth 1, 2, 5, 10, and 20 rupees each. The AKAM logo will serve as the inspiration for this limited-edition collection of coins, which will also be designed to be clearly distinguishable even by those with visual impairments.
Furthermore, the programme will be carried out concurrently at seventy-five locations spread across the nation, with each of these locations being linked to the primary venue via a virtual form of communication.
